If you hyper mile a 2nd gen Lexus IS250 AWD at abou
t 62mph, with new spark plugs, a fresh wax and old winter tires, you CAN get over 40 MPG on the hwy.
Never. fucking. again. God that was so fucking boring.
picture from the spark plug change.
1: Fuck the engineer that thought it would be such a good idea to route the intake manifold over 3 of the plugs.
AND THEN FUCK HIM AGAIN FOR PUTTING A BOLT ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE MANIFOLD WHERE YOU CANT SEE THE THING.
The polish came out really good though. Kinda.

I always thought those were really handsome cars. Looks nice!
Also, I hate hidden bolts and stuff like that.

it was such a bastard. not to mention that i removed a LOT of the underhood plastic cladding, and a bunch of them corroded to the manifold. When you resort to using a breaker bar on a 5mm allen, you start to question yourself time to time.

A Nissan Micra gets 5.5 l/100km

Breaker bar on a 5mm... I know that feel . Glad you got it done though.
